There are millions of different kinds of insects. Many of these can be found in the environment around your lawn. Most insects are harmless and should be of no concern to you. Many are even beneficial. There are a few, though, that can cause problems for your lawn. Chinch bugs, sod webworms, or armyworms are just some lawn damaging insects. They like feed on the leaves and roots of the grass plants. These pests can be controled with insect control when they are present in large numbers.
